Local Mini-Grant Application
The purpose of this grant is to increase the quantity, quality, and cultural diversity of books in elementary classroom libraries in Whitfield, Murray, Catoosa, Walker, and Gordon counties (Georgia). Classroom libraries play a key role in providing access to books and promoting literacy. They have the potential to increase student motivation, engagement, and achievement, and they help students become critical thinkers, analytical readers, and informed citizens.
